The FIA IDR was launched in 2022 in partnership with the FIA. The IDR is a small, lightweight, battery operated device with a lifespan of two years. When affixed to a motorsport vehicle chassis, the IDR accurately detects and stores impact data for download and review via the FIA IDR mobile app.
